An apartment in Genoa, Italy, reflects the owner's far-flung interests

In most cases, it is the man or woman of your dreams that you meet at a friend's wedding. Not so for Sara Berretta. She found the antique cedar doors of her dreams while attending a friend's wedding in Morocco. Finding a new place to live, transporting them to Italy and making them the centerpiece of her home turned out to be a major task. The result -- really original -- and individual living space were worth the effort.
